  • Bruce Goldberg, MSW, LMSW, ACSW

    Mr. Goldberg is the President and co-owner of River’s Bend, P.C. He has been practicing for 16 years and treats adolescents and adults for substance abuse and mental health within an individual, family and group treatment setting. He provides Ambulatory Detoxification, Intervention Planning and Execution, as well as consulting for chemical dependence. Mr. Goldberg is a SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) and Health Professional Recovery Program (HPRP) provider. He co-facilitates the Adult Intensive Outpatient and facilitates the Adolescent enhanced outpatient group. Mr. Goldberg has presented for various cities to parents and leaders as well as statewide conferences to aid in educating within the field of substance abuse.

  • Stephanie Howey, MSW, LMSW

    Ms. Howey is the Vice President and co-owner of River’s Bend, P.C. She has 10 years of experience treating adolescents and adults for both mental health and substance abuse issues. She co-facilitates the adult Intensive Outpatient Program and facilitates one of the two Health Professional Recovery Program (HPRP) groups, being a HPRP provider for over 2 years. She has experience treating anxiety, women’s issues, post-partum depression, parenting difficulties and support, personality disorders and co-dependency. Ms. Howey also participates with local high schools and community organizations to discuss and plan for today’s youth.

  • Rebecca Ehle, MSW, LMSW

    Ms. Ehle has been in the private practice setting for over 20 years. She provides a professional and relaxed environment where client’s dignity, strengths and privacy are respected. Ms. Ehle’s caseload includes individuals and families addressing a broad range of concerns: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress management, relationship conflict, adjustment to divorce, codependency, parenting stress, self esteem, social phobias and post-partum depression. She facilitates and created the Managing Work Stress Group at River’s Bend.

  • Julie Falbaum, LMSW, ACSW, CAAC

    Ms. Falbaum has 23 years of experience working with adults for both mental health and substance abuse issues. Ms. Falbaum specializes her mental health practice in the areas of eating disorders, weight management, marital issues and co-dependency within families. She created and facilitates the Weight Management Group at River’s Bend.

  • Jennifer Felix, MA, LLP

    Ms. Felix has over 7 years experience in the mental health field. She specializes her practice with concentration in women’s issues, gay and lesbian issues, childhood issues and trauma, sexual trauma and grief/ loss. Ms. Felix treats older adolescents and adults. She is a Health Professional Recovery Program (HPRP) provider and facilitates one of the groups at River’s Bend.

  • Dr. Kristyn Gregory, DO

    Dr. Gregory has been a practicing psychiatrist for 10 years and is Board certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatry. She specializes in adolescent substance abuse and is licensed to prescribe Suboxone for opiate addiction. Dr. Gregory has privileges at Havenwyck Hospital, where she can continue to monitor our clients needing a higher level of care. Dr. Gregory enhances her psychiatric practice by also working with area schools to provide education for mental health diagnoses and substance abuse trends and treatment.

  • Jen Hutchings, Ph.D., LMFT

    Dr. Hutchings has 16 years experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals, couples and families on issues related to improving their well-being and relationships, such as communication, stress-management, self-esteem, premarital counseling, anxiety, and depression. She has extensive experience working with issues of domestic violence. Dr. Hutchings currently teaches in the Psychology Department of Rochester College and has significant experience working with adolescents and college students. She is an Approved Supervisor and Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

  • Natasha Kendal, Ph.D., LMFT

    Dr. Natasha Kendal, aka “Dr. Supernanny” has a Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from MSU’s College of Human Ecology. She is a successful therapist specializing in couples (married or committed relationships), families and blended families, with children of all ages. Additionally, Dr. Kendal has conducted research in the area of financial decision-making in the family and coined the concept “Financial Crucibal”©, which she successfully uses with couples whose conflicts center on money issues. Dr. Kendal is the author of several articles on the subjects of parenting, relationships, divorce mediation, and financial hardships.

    She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and is currently serving as treasurer for Michigan Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT).

    Dr. Kendal’s treatment specialization includes: Individuals of all ages (children, adolescents, adults, seniors), Couples, Families and step-families, Separated and divorced families, and Couples in money-related conflict.

  • James Martin, MSW, LCSW, NCACII, MAC, CEAP

    Mr. Martin has over 20 years of experience in the social work field. He focuses his practice in mental health and substance abuse with the following specialties with extensive training: Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Evaluations, stress management, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), intervention planning and execution, Employee Assistance Program evaluations and short-term therapy. Mr. Martin is a certified Trauma Resolution Therapy Counselor (TRT) and has served on numerous state wide boards and is active in several local organizations.

  • Kathryn Ong, MA, LLP

    Ms. Ong has worked in the mental health field for 10 years and has been a therapist for 4 years. She specializes in child, adolescent and family psychotherapy and conducts psychological testing. Ms. Ong’s areas of experience include: behavioral disorders, self-mutilation, eating disorders, relationship issues and family crisis. Ms. Ong’s experience has been gained through previous inpatient and hospital employment.

  • Peggy Weinberg, MA, LLP

    Peggy has over 20 years experience as a Master’s level psychologist. She has extensive experience with Employee Assistance Program clients centering on short term problem resolution treatment. Ms. Weinberg has maintained a successful caseload of children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. She has excellent knowledge of union and big company interface and interaction. She also has experience with clients from the health care field and she incorporates her ability to work with the family with her clients.
