Ellie Ward LMSW

Ellie Ward is a driven social worker committed to empowering individuals and groups through her work at River’s Bend. With a focus on advocacy and support, Ellie works with clients experiencing a variety of mental health diagnoses. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Oakland University and her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University, where she specialized in clinical social work, substance use disorders, and mental health. 

Ellie has experience working with diverse populations, including folks experiencing homelessness, grief, substance use disorder, anxiety, and depression. Her approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practices, and strengths-based psychotherapies. Whether providing services in groups or individual settings, she is dedicated to creating a safe space for each individual client to gain coping skills and develop community.
