KENZIE  TIMM LPC, ATR

Kenzie is a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist. She received her master’s degree from Wayne State University and has experience working in an inpatient behavioral health setting treating adults, adolescents, MIDD, and geriatric populations. She has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, life transitions, OCD and ADHD. She has also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. She has also helped several individuals with severe mental health issues. 

Kenzie’s counseling style is based on providing the best possible support for the individuals she is working with. She believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, but most importantly meeting you where you are at on your current journey. Her approach is integrative. She draws from theories and approaches based on the needs of the individuals. She combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness techniques, strength-based, solution-focused, and rational-emotive counseling. 

It is her intention to create an environment where you feel supported, empowered, and able to provide feedback openly as we work together.
