Vicky Gura, BSW, LMSW
Vicky Gura, BSW, LMSW, is a compassionate and client-centered therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and groups through life’s challenges and transitions. Vicky graduated from Wayne State University in 2009 with a master’s in social work and a concentration in cognitive-behavioral therapy. She brings a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy, honoring each client’s unique experiences and goals.
Vicky has a diverse social work background which includes practice in tele-therapy, hospice care, schools, residential treatment, and hospitals. She is experienced in addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis intervention, 12 step recovery, and grief and loss. She creates a safe, supportive space where clients are able to learn, grow, and thrive.
In her spare time, Vicky enjoys spending time with loved ones. She thoroughly enjoys kayaking, hiking, and attending live music events. Vicky also relishes long walks with her faithful canine companion, Bijou!
