Samara Maniere-Terry, LLMSW

Samara is a vibrant and encouraging counselor who desires to see her clients find healing and purpose. She earned her Bachelors and Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. She had the privilege of working with the Detroit Police Victim’s Assistance Program providing counseling for Domestic Violence/ Sexual Assault Survivors and Homicide-related victimizations. Samara has grown a unique skill set in crisis and grief counseling, focusing on the specific needs of each client. Samara also supports clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and mental health challenges. She assesses each client and uses appropriate techniques to help them reach their goals. 

Samara offers faith-based counseling to clients exploring or deepening their relationship with God. She is a therapist who listens with purpose, intentionality, and compassion. In her free time, she spends time with her friends and volunteers with her church. Samara finds much purpose in serving the middle schoolers at their youth group.
