boundary setting, and loss of self due to parenting. She utilizes a combination of Structural Problem Solving, Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Reflection, Strength Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion
Focused Therapy (EFT). Abigail’s therapeutic approach is warm, person centered, goal-oriented, and has a focus of helping clients feel understood while working toward meaningful goals. Her goal is to help clients gain deeper self-awareness, new perspectives, and feel empowered to create the life they
want to live. Abigail received her Master’s of Social Work from Michigan State University. She maintains an active status under a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Development Plan (CAADC-DP) and holds a Combat Veterans Certificate (CVC) from Michigan State
University.
