Alyssa Fisher, LLMSW

Alyssa Fisher is a Limited License Master of Social Work (LLMSW). She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work at Michigan State University in 2022 and Master of Social Work at Michigan State University in 2023 (Go Green!). She was born and raised in the Metro-Detroit area and was raised practicing her Jewish faith at Temple Israel. Alyssa is accepting of all regardless of their gender, race, or sexual orientation and believes in creating a non-judgmental space for individuals who are looking to come to therapy. Alyssa’s goal is to help individuals further understand themselves, learn new coping strategies and practice self-acceptance through understanding where their emotions come from and how to work through them in healthy ways.

Alyssa is passionate about continuing to learn and grow within the field and has experience with those ages 18-75 at a PHP providing group and individual therapy. Her primary methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is currently working towards her Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification.
