Carly Boyer, LPC
Hello! My name is Carli Boyer, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals rebuild their lives from the challenges of addiction and mental health struggles.
Since beginning my work in this field in 2015, I have had the privilege of serving clients in both outpatient and residential settings. I earned my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and went on to complete my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School. This training has given me the foundation to lead effective addiction treatment groups and provide compassionate individual and family therapy.
I believe that every person has the strength within them to heal, and my therapeutic approach is designed to meet you where you are. I use an eclectic approach, primarily leaning on Motivational Interviewing and strengths-based theories to help you identify your goals and tap into your own resilience. As needed, I integrate effective interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to build practical coping skills.
The most rewarding part of my job is being able to be part of something bigger than myself. To help restore someone’s life who has been broken down by addiction. This work is truly my passion.
When I’m away from the office, I recharge by spending time with my friends and family (and my cat!). I also love getting creative through painting, searching for unique finds while thrifting, and experimenting in the kitchen with cooking.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
