Ellie Ward, LLMSW
Ellie Ward is a driven social worker committed to empowering individuals and groups at River’s Bend. With a clear focus on advocacy and support, she helps clients navigate a variety of mental health challenges. Ellie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Oakland University. Later, she completed her Master’s in Social Work at Wayne State University. During her graduate studies, she specialized in clinical social work, substance use disorders, and mental health.
Ellie has extensive experience working with diverse populations. For instance, she supports individuals experiencing homelessness, grief, substance use, anxiety, and depression. Furthermore, her therapeutic approach relies on empathy, evidence-based practices, and strengths-based care.
Whether working in group or individual settings, Ellie strives to create a safe, welcoming environment. Ultimately, she helps every client build practical coping skills, foster resilience, and strengthen their sense of community.
