Logan Smith, LLMSW
Logan Smith is a Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW) at River’s Bend. He is passionate about supporting individuals as they develop insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Logan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2024. Later, he completed his Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2025. Currently, he is working toward becoming a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
Logan specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. Specifically, his clinical focus includes substance use, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges. His goal is to help individuals better understand themselves and build effective coping strategies. Furthermore, he guides clients in exploring the origins of their emotions so they can practice healthy self-acceptance.
His therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based. To foster long-term growth, he integrates evidence-based practices tailored to each person’s unique needs. Additionally, he creates a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. At the same time, he gently encourages personal accountability.
Finally, Logan frequently incorporates psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and practical skill-building into his work. This empowers clients to apply what they learn both in and outside of therapy sessions.
