STEFAN TERLECKYJ LLMSW

Stefan is a limited licensed therapist with his master’s in social work and public health from Wayne State University. He has experience working in an inpatient behavioral health setting treating adults, adolescents, MIDD, and geriatric populations. He has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, career challenges, life transitions, and emotional and physical trauma. He has also helped several individuals with severe mental health issues. 

Stefan’s counseling style is based on providing the best possible support for the individuals he is working with and believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Most importantly, Stefan believes in meeting you where you are on your current journey so that your care is tailored to your needs. His approach is integrative, drawing from theories and approaches based on research to best fit the needs of the individuals. He combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness, strength-based, solution-focused, and acceptance techniques.

It is his intention to create an environment where you feel supported, empowered, and able to speak freely so that you gain a rewarding therapeutic experience.
