Zubair (“Z”) is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMNP) who has been in the field of nursing for over 12 years working with teens, young adults, and older adults. He specializes in Bipolar, Trauma, Social Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and Stress Management. Z’s role is to be a mental health advocate, a guide, a provider, and a lead educator.
Z’ completed his Master of Science in Nursing with a major in Psychiatric Mental Health from Wayne State University in 2021. His approach is that not all treatments will work the same way and that an individualized experience conducted with a thorough evaluation is much more beneficial. Z’ uses his strong listening and in-the-moment techniques to assure his clients that the focus is on a collaborative approach and a team effort. He is a strong advocate for using a multimodal approach as a way of thinking outside the box. The focus is on you, the client as a whole and he intends to treat the mind, body, and soul.
